Zelenskyy says Trump hasn't approved Tomahawks for Ukraine as Putin shows concern

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, in an interview with NBC News, said US President Donald Trump has not yet agreed to provide Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine. At the same time, Kremlin leader Vladimir Putin is reportedly concerned about such a decision.
"It's good that President Trump didn’t say 'no,' but for today, didn't say 'yes,'" Zelenskyy said.
He emphasized that equipping Ukrainian forces with Tomahawk missiles is causing serious concern for Putin.
"I think that Putin is afraid that the United States will deliver us Tomahawks. And I think that he is really afraid that we will use them," Zelenskyy added.
What else Zelenskyy said about Tomahawk missiles
Yesterday, after meeting with Trump, Zelenskyy spoke with the press. In a question-and-answer session, he said the issue of providing Tomahawk missiles has not been canceled. The two sides agreed not to discuss it publicly, as the US does not want escalation.
He also noted that President Trump now understands that Ukraine needs Tomahawk missiles just as much as the US does.
Zelenskyy added that Russians are afraid not only of the missiles themselves but also of how Ukraine could combine them with other weapons.
According to Axios, Trump told Zelenskyy he does not intend to provide Tomahawk missiles to Ukraine for now. A source told CNN that Trump seems to believe Ukraine might want to escalate the war.
