The coming months will be decisive in the war with Russia. Ukraine does not have much time, says President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy at the American Academy of Achievement's Golden Plate Award.

“And we don't have much time. The next few months will be decisive. Ahead of us in this war - Russia's war against Ukraine and all of you - because it is Russia's war against freedom itself. We're short of time to determine what the outcome will be,” he said.

Zelenskyy called for swift action and not wasting time in the conflict to not risk future decades.

“And we must define it. Not Russia, not their bloody allies. We need to be faster. We need not to lose the next few months in the war so that we don't lose next decades,” he added.

Zelenskyy's visit to the United States

This week, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy began his official visit to the United States. During the visit, he will present Ukraine's victory plan, which is closely linked to US military assistance.

The plan contains several decisions to be implemented by the end of the year. It will be presented to US President Joe Biden, as well as presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

According to the media, Zelenskyy plans to focus on Ukraine's invitation to join NATO and constant arms supplies as part of the victory plan.
