Zelenskyy's visit being prepared - Ukrainian delegation arrives in Saudi Arabia

A Ukrainian government delegation has begun a working visit to Saudi Arabia. Strengthening economic ties between the two countries is a way to strengthen global security, states First Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine Yulia Svyrydenko.
Svyrydenko said that during a meeting with nearly a hundred local entrepreneurs, they presented projects in energy, agriculture, and infrastructure. They also presented large-scale public-private partnership projects and attractive privatization opportunities totaling half a billion dollars in investment.
She noted that in the coming days, the Ukrainian delegation will have dozens of meetings to prepare for President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's visit to Saudi Arabia.
"In particular, we are preparing to sign important economic agreements with the countries of the region," the First Deputy Prime Minister said.
At the same time, she noted that, in her opinion, Ukraine has prospects for more active investment from the Middle East.
"Today we have seen significant interest primarily in infrastructure projects, energy projects, proposals in the field of innovation, agribusiness, especially fertilizer production, where Saudi Arabia has expertise," Svyrydenko explained.
US-Russia meeting in Saudi Arabia
On the evening of February 15, Politico reported that US President Donald Trump's team would begin Russian-Ukrainian peace talks in Saudi Arabia.
Bloomberg also reported that Senior US and Russian officials will meet in Saudi Arabia next week.
Moreover, on February 13, President Trump himself said that representatives of the United States, Ukraine, and Russia would allegedly meet in Saudi Arabia next week.
However, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy commented on rumors of possible talks in Saudi Arabia on Ukraine. According to him, this is not a serious conversation.
However, the President himself also said that he was planning a visit to Saudi Arabia. He explained that he already had "planned visits and important dialogues" there.
