Andriy Yermak, Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, met with US Presidential Special Envoy Keith Kellogg to discuss, among other topics, the second round of Ukraine-Russia negotiations, according to Yermak.

Yermak emphasized that the meeting with Kellogg took place during his visit to Washington.

"We discussed the situation on the frontlines, the outcomes of the meetings in Istanbul, the importance of strengthening sanctions against Russia, and military aid for Ukraine," he noted.

According to the head of the Presidential Office, one of the topics discussed was the abduction of Ukrainian children by Russia. The Ukrainian delegation in Istanbul handed over lists of the abducted children and is awaiting a response from Moscow. The United States is involved in this process.

"I said that Russia is doing everything it can to avoid a ceasefire. This must be stopped by force, because Ukraine has done everything possible to end the war. But if Russia refuses to stop voluntarily, we are forced to carry out operations and destroy its military capabilities," Yermak added.

He also noted that Ukraine is grateful to US President Donald Trump and the American people for their support.

Yermak's visit to the United States

On June 3, Head of the Ukrainian Presidential Office Andriy Yermak departed for the United States.

According to him, the visit includes a series of meetings between the Ukrainian delegation and members of US President Donald Trump's team.

Yermak also stated that he plans to discuss the potential strengthening of US sanctions against Russia.
