Various scenarios regarding the end of Russia's war against Ukraine are emerging in the information space, in which the aggressor nation does not face defeat. However, these scenarios are misguided, as they will only encourage the aggressor, according to Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the Office of the President.

An official expressed concerns about strange peace plans, compromise options, and de-escalation strategies, which are frequently mentioned in the global information arena.

According to him, their fundamental problem is that they "completely contradict Ukraine's aspirations and violate the principles of parity and security."

"They are categorically unfeasible because they contradict basic logic. The logic where it is evident that not defeating the aggressor only encourages it to continue its expansion," Podolyak emphasizes.

In this context, the representative of the President's Office commented on the taboo against strikes using Western-supplied weapons deep into Russian territory at sites from which the occupiers shell Ukraine and about the possibility of NATO countries intercepting Russian aerial targets.

"So, we somehow have to accept the absolutely illogical thesis that shooting down NATO forces and Russian missiles flying at Ukrainian cities may escalate the war further. Really? We see no inconsistency in that it is permissible to shoot at Shaheds, but it is prohibited to target their launch pads? That is, shoot down the arrows, but leave the archer alone to continue to enjoy," Podolyak writes.

The advisor to the Office of the President added that the Ukrainian side is being asked to "agree that appeasing the aggressor will reduce its appetite" and that supposedly freezing the war aligns with Europe's security interests, while "Ukraine's consent to lose territories and millions of its residents aligns with our Ukrainian interests."

"What kind of logic can we use here? But… it is customary to mock 'flat-earthers' and 'inventors of perpetual motion machines.' Do the engineers of illogical diplomatic constructs that undoubtedly encourage the aggressor to escalate genocide deserve respect?" the publication states.

Rumors about peace plans

It was reported that President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Ukraine's victory plan in the war with Russia. He has already presented the relevant initiative to his American counterpart, Joe Biden, and presidential candidates Kamala Harris and Donald Trump.

This plan has yet to be publicly presented, and due to the document's secrecy, various speculations regarding the initiative have arisen.

It is worth recalling that the German publication Bild wrote about Ukraine's alleged readiness to freeze the war, but the Presidential Office of Ukraine stated that this is fake.

Additionally, during his evening address yesterday, Zelenskyy announced the upcoming disclosure of the victory plan for all Ukrainians.
