Zelenskyy’s Office reports noticeable exhaustion of Russia
The exhaustion of Russia is evident. However, Ukraine still requires permission to strike its territory, states Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine.
In response to a journalist's question about when the tipping point of Russia's exhaustion will be reached, Podolyak stated that it has already occurred.
"The exhaustion of the Russian Federation is evident. Why are North Korea and Iran supplying missiles to Russia? This year, the Kremlin is spending $140 billion on the war and investing significant funds in the military industry. However, the deficit is increasing, especially in ammunition, shells, and missiles. That is why our airstrikes on Russian territory are so important," the advisor emphasized.
He also noted that Ukrainian strikes on Russia are destroying production facilities, warehouses, and logistics, which are critical resource sources, further deepening the exhaustion.
"This is a military component, but there is also a social one. When attacks occur on a large scale, not only in Kursk and other border areas but also deep within Russia, in Saratov, Oryol, Leningrad, and the Moscow region, the social sentiments are quite different," Podolyak added.
The advisor to the head of the Office of the President emphasized that people in Russia are already realizing that the war is also taking place in their country.
"They haven't felt the war for two years and thought it was cool that people were being killed in Ukraine. But suddenly, they are experiencing this war themselves and understand how terrifying it is. This is dangerous for the Kremlin, as it may lead to changes in public sentiment and protests," he concluded.
Strikes on Russia
It is worth noting that on October 7, a massive fire broke out at the oil terminal in Feodosia. Russia even declared a state of emergency. The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the strike on the maritime oil terminal in Feodosia.
Interestingly, on October 10, another tank caught fire at the oil depot in Feodosia. By that time, the fire had already been ongoing for four days.
Today, underground sources reported that after the destruction of the oil depot in Feodosia, the Russians found themselves in a "logistical chaos." More details on this can be found in the material by RBC-Ukraine.
