Zelenskyy's Office reminds allies what Ukraine needs for Russia to lose war

Ukraine's allies need to accept two things for Russia to lose in the war, especially concerning the supply of weapons, believes advisor to the head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, Mykhailo Podolyak.

According to him, Russia is stuck in heavy battles and cannot advance any further, and the reputation of its army looks "extremely unpresentable."

"Russia is forced to openly militarize the entire country, endlessly mobilizing unnecessary people from poor regions and prisons, and searching for ammunition. And this is just to withstand in Ukraine. Russia no longer looks like yesterday's "influential world player," Podolyak added.

He adds that the aggressor country is currently thinking about how to withstand in defense, self-preserve, and hold control over the occupied territories.

"To prevent this, to ensure Russia loses for sure, partners must accept two things. Firstly: Russia can and must lose. Again: it can and must lose. It is important for all of us. Secondly: the weaponry - its technological level, quantity, and timely supply - matters. And it is the only right decision," he believes.

Ukraine calls for weapons supply

Earlier, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, Dmytro Kuleba, addressed the EU Council. Among other things, he urged to increase the supply of weapons for the Ukrainian military.

He told his EU counterparts Ukraine needed combat aviation, artillery, reactive multiple launch rocket systems, armored vehicles, tanks, ammunition, electronic warfare means, radars, drones, long-range missiles, and more.
