This week, Russian occupiers launched over a thousand rockets, aerial bombs, and kamikaze drones in combined mass strikes against Ukraine, stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy in tonight's evening address.

"Throughout this week, from Monday until today, Russian terrorists have employed nearly 190 rockets of various types, almost 140 Shaheds, and nearly 700 guided aerial bombs," stated the head of state.

He noted that since the full-scale invasion of occupiers into Ukraine, "there hasn't been a single week when Russia refrained from terror."

"And we are doing everything possible so that our entirely just response to this terror is felt by the occupation contingent every week, every day," Zelenskyy said.

He also expressed gratitude to the defenders of the sky who repel enemy aerial attacks.

"To all the soldiers of mobile fire groups, our aviation, air defense forces, all the specialists of our EW. Thank you for every downed rocket, for every downed Shahed," said the head of state.

At the same time, Zelenskyy emphasizes that Ukraine's "air shield" requires significant reinforcement.

"We are working on this with all partners whose decisions can change the nature of this war and secure our cities and villages from terror. But already now, at least some of the rockets and most of the Shaheds are being shot down by our soldiers," the president noted.

Massive Russian air strikes on Ukraine

On the night of March 22, Russian terrorists launched a combined missile-air strike against Ukraine. In total, the enemy used 151 air attack assets.

To repel the attack, anti-aircraft missile units and mobile fire groups were involved. In total, 92 air targets were destroyed, including: 55 Shaheds; 35 Kh-101/Kh-555 cruise missiles; 2 Kh-59 guided aviation missiles. More details about that massive combined attack and its consequences can be found in the material by RBC-Ukraine.

It should be noted that on the night of March 24, Russian occupiers once again attacked Ukraine with missiles and kamikaze drones. Air defense forces destroyed 18 missiles and 25 drones.

Today, it became known that due to the massive attacks, power outage schedules may be introduced in the Odesa and Khmelnytskyi regions. It was also reported that power outage schedules are being introduced in Kryvyi Rih. Additionally, in Kharkiv and the region, hourly power outages will be implemented from March 25 until the end of the month.
