In a week, Russia attacked Ukraine with hundreds of missiles, aerial bombs, and drones. Specifically, the occupiers fired 100 missiles, according to the Telegram message from Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.

"Over just this week, Russia launched nearly 630 guided aerial bombs, around 550 strike drones, and more than 100 missiles of various types against Ukraine," he said.

Zelenskyy thanked the Ukrainian military for defending the country and the partners who recognize the need to strengthen air defense to save Ukrainian lives.

"The world must be united and stronger than ever. Only through strength can we together force Russia and its allies to abandon terror and achieve a just peace," the president stated.

Russian attacks on Ukraine

Russia continues to target Ukraine with drones, missiles, and aerial bombs. On December 13, for example, the occupiers launched a massive attack on Ukraine, targeting nearly 300 objectives with drones and missiles. Even Poland had to deploy its aviation in response to the Russian attack on December 13.

Additionally, the Institute for the Study of War recently noted that Ukraine's strikes on Russia with Western weapons could reduce the number of bomb attacks on Ukrainian territory. This trend is already being observed. In particular, Russian forces plan to drop only a third of the bombs over Ukraine in December compared to the number dropped in November.
