Zelenskyy reveals how many airstrikes Russia launched on Ukraine in last week

Russia has launched hundreds of attacks on Ukraine over the past week, using various types of weapons. The occupiers have fired more than a thousand bombs and hundreds of drones, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.
According to the head of state, Russia has launched approximately 1,200 guided aerial bombs, nearly 870 attack drones, and more than 80 missiles of various types at Ukraine over the past week.
"Every Shahed drone, every aerial bomb used by Russia contains components that are supplied despite sanctions. This weaponry includes more than 82,000 foreign-made parts," the president stated.
Zelenskyy emphasized that Ukraine is working with its partners every day to secure decisions that save lives, including the supply of air defense systems, investments in defense production, and the strengthening of sanctions against Russia.
"And we continue our efforts to bring about a just peace and ensure reliable security guarantees," he added.
Russia’s air attacks
Earlier this week, on March 7, Russia launched a combined missile and drone strike on Ukraine, once again targeting the country’s energy and gas infrastructure.
Strikes were reported in Kharkiv, as well as in the Ternopil, Odesa, and Chernihiv regions. More details on the aftermath of the attack can be found in RBC-Ukraine’s report.
Last night, Russian forces launched 119 drones at Ukraine. Air defense systems were active in 12 regions, successfully shooting down 73 drones. An additional 37 enemy decoy drones were lost from radar without causing damage.
