According to the head of state, the operation is being carried out by the 2nd Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine, Khartiia.
"More than 100 Russian occupiers have already been eliminated, and more than 30 have been taken prisoner. The underground advance has exceeded 15 kilometers," the president noted.

"Ukrainian warriors have successfully transformed this tactic, modernized it, and made it much more sophisticated and technologically advanced. We are protecting the lives of our people, inflicting losses on the occupiers, and achieving our objectives in the Kupiansk sector," emphasized the head of state.
The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) reported that Ukrainian military forces destroyed a large Russian division during Operation Vivaldi.
According to analysts' data, the occupiers' 144th Motor Rifle Division suffered such losses that it effectively ceased to exist as an organized combat unit.
