Zelenskyy reveals devastating consequences of Russian strike on Kharkiv transit depot

Russian troops attacked a trolleybus depot in Kharkiv with drones on the night of May 30. Residential buildings were also damaged, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"Russian Shaheds against ordinary trolleybuses. This was a strike on Kharkiv – at least 8 Shahed drones destroyed a trolleybus depot and also damaged nearby residential apartment buildings. A typical Russian strike on ordinary civilian life," the President noted.
In total, Russians used 90 attack drones and two ballistic missiles against Ukraine overnight.
"Such strikes happen every day. The vast majority target civilian infrastructure and have no military purpose. Russia’s strategy is simply to destroy lives," Zelenskyy added.
According to the head of state, Russia's strategy is to destroy lives, and it will not abandon this strategy without sufficient pressure on it. Zelenskyy called not to bargain with Russia, but to put pressure on it to end the war.
"Even talks of pauses in pressure or easing of sanctions are perceived in Moscow as a political victory – and only encourage further attacks and continued disregard for diplomacy. The world must be resolute and strong – the United States, Europe, and everyone who seeks peace. We must not bargain with the aggressor, but force it to stop the killing and restore security," he emphasized.
Russian night strike on Ukraine
Last night, the Russian troops launched a combined attack on Ukraine - 90 drones and two Iskander-M/KN-23 ballistic missiles. Air defense forces neutralized 56 drones (26 were shot down, another 30 were locally lost/suppressed by electronic warfare).
At night, Russia attacked Kharkiv. The Russian attack destroyed a trolleybus depot and damaged over 30 apartment buildings.
In addition, Russia attacked Izmail, the Odesa region. There, Russian drones destroyed a Nova Post office.
