Zelenskyy reveals details of military and intelligence reports
Today, on July 24, President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy listened to reports from the military, foreign intelligence, and the Ministry of Defense. They added a clearer understanding of the tasks and needs, according to the head of the Ukrainian state.
“Today, there were several reports that provide a clearer understanding of both tasks and needs,” the President said.
He specified that the report was made, in particular, by the head of the Foreign Intelligence Service, Oleh Ivashchenko, about expectations for the near future and opportunities that Ukraine must take advantage of.
There was also a report by Defense Minister Rustem Umerov on the provision of military tasks this month. According to Zelenskyy, news is being prepared on this issue.
At the same time, Zelenskyy added, he was briefed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. The general spoke about the situation at the front and the defensive actions of Ukrainian soldiers.
What preceded it
Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi, said that Ukraine would do everything possible to reach the borders of 1991.
According to him, Ukraine already has a plan to return the temporarily occupied Crimea, and it is realistic.
The Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces also revealed Russian plans to increase the number of its troops in Ukraine. According to him, Russia wants to concentrate up to 690,000 soldiers on Ukrainian territory by the end of the year.
