President Volodymyr Zelenskyy stated that he is "not easy" when it comes to issues related to negotiations.

While speaking with journalists, President Zelenskyy reminded them of the importance of US President Donald Trump’s support for sanctions against Russia.

At the same time, the president said, "It is very important that later no one says Zelenskyy is difficult in negotiations."

"I am not easy, but there is legislation. You can’t bend the law back and forth… this is not a debate, so things are what they are. And that’s why it’s important for all of us to be consistent. I support the consistency proposed by the American side — a ceasefire or sanctions. We didn’t want sanctions against us, we support a ceasefire. As for the Russians? Probably, they don’t care — in that case, we ask for sanctions to be applied," Zelenskyy said.

Recently, Trump called Zelenskyy "stubborn." A journalist remarked that the American president’s team is "dealing with a very stubborn Vladimir Putin." To which Trump replied: "Very stubborn Zelenskyy too."

Trump begins to criticize Putin

At the end of May, the Russian army launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory with various weapons. At first, Trump did not comment on the Russian strikes. Later, he stated that Putin had gone crazy.

"Something has happened to him. He has gone absolutely CRAZY!" Trump wrote about Putin on Truth Social, referring to Russia’s attack the previous night.

After that, Trump again criticized Russian President Vladimir Putin for delaying peace negotiations with Ukraine. The American leader threatened Russia with "really bad things."
