Zelenskyy responds to Putin’s invitation to Moscow

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy responded to Russian President Vladimir Putin’s invitation for a bilateral meeting in Moscow at a press conference following the Coalition of the Willing meeting in Paris.
"Our American partners informed us that Putin invited me to Moscow. I believe that if you want a meeting not to happen, you should invite me to Moscow," Zelenskyy said.
At the same time, he noted that it is already a positive sign if Russia is even talking about a meeting.
"But so far, we do not see their desire to end the war. And adult leaders at such high-level meetings should come out with some result, preferably ending the war," the President added.
Putin invites Zelenskyy to Moscow
Yesterday, September 3, Russian President Vladimir Putin said he does not rule out a meeting with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"As for meetings with Zelenskyy, I did not rule out such meetings, but is there any sense in these meetings?" he said.
Putin added that Zelenskyy should come to Moscow if he is ready for a meeting.
"If Zelenskyy wants, if he is ready, let him come to Moscow, we will meet," the Russian President stated.
