President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said he held a productive meeting in London with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Council President António Costa, and European Parliament President Ursula von der Leyen, according to the president’s press service.
"A good and productive meeting with NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte, European Council President António Costa, and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen," Zelenskyy said.
He added that he informed the European leaders about the situation on the diplomatic track.
"We discussed in detail the work with our American partners on steps toward peace, security guarantees, and strengthening our resilience. We also touched on the PURL initiative and the reparations loan. We coordinated our positions on all issues. We are acting in a united and constructive way. Thank you for the meeting and for your support!" the president concluded.
As is known, Zelenskyy is currently in London for talks with European leaders. The main topics of discussion are security guarantees, strengthening defence, and the peace plan.
The president stated earlier that Ukraine will finalise its peace plan on 9 December and then send it to the United States.
The Ukrainian delegation has returned from the United States, where they held discussions on revising elements of the peace plan that Washington presented in November.
