President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced that the Ukrainian delegation that held negotiations in Florida has arrived in Ireland. He added that the peace plan, after further refinement, consists of 20 points, Zelenskyy stated this at a press conference with Irish Prime Minister Micheál Martin.

"Today in Ireland, our delegation that held meetings in the US with the US president’s team has gathered. There are now 20 points that were developed in Geneva and further refined in Florida," the Ukrainian leader said.

Zelenskyy added that some provisions of Ukraine’s peace plan still need additional work.

US peace plan

In recent weeks, Ukrainian officials have held several meetings with American counterparts to discuss the US peace plan.

After the first round of talks in Geneva, it became known that the document had been shortened. According to media reports, it now contains 19 points instead of the original 28.

At this stage, the details of the new version of the peace plan remain unknown. Notably, the US initially demanded that Ukraine hand over the Donetsk and Luhansk regions to Russia. The document also included other provisions unacceptable to Ukraine.

According to RBC-Ukraine’s sources, the new version of the peace plan contains no restrictions on the size of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during negotiations with the US, the territorial issue was discussed for 6.5 hours "just on specific points."
