Zelenskyy offers for Slovakia to be included in Ukraine’s security guarantees system

Kyiv would like Slovakia to join in providing security guarantees to Ukraine after the war with Russia ends or a ceasefire is reached, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference with Slovak Prime Minister Robert Fico.
"We are working with our partners and believe it would be right for Slovakia to also be part of this new security system," Zelenskyy said.
The Ukrainian president made this statement while commenting on the security guarantees that the countries of the Coalition of the Willing have agreed to provide to Ukraine.
Security guarantees for Ukraine
Yesterday, September 4, French President Emmanuel Macron stated that the countries of the Coalition of the Willing had completed preparations for security guarantees for Ukraine.
A little later, the French leader clarified that 26 states are already ready to send their soldiers to Ukraine or support such a mission.
At the same time, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the possible deployment of a foreign contingent to Ukraine, noted that it would involve thousands of soldiers.
According to him, there is already an understanding of which countries are willing to help and in what way.
