Zelenskyy plans to meet Trump at NATO summit as teams coordinate

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy plans to meet with US leader Donald Trump on the sidelines of the NATO summit, which will take place on June 24–25 in The Hague, Netherlands, Sky News reports.
When asked by a journalist whether he plans to meet with Trump during the NATO summit, Zelenskyy responded affirmatively.
"Yes, I plan to. I don't know how it will turn out, to be honest with you. The teams are working, yes, but we're planning to meet," said the Ukrainian President.
According to Zelenskyy, the Ukrainian and US teams are coordinating the timing and agenda of the bilateral meeting.

Earlier, Axios, citing an unnamed source, reported that US President Donald Trump and Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy would meet during the upcoming G7 summit in Canada. One of the main topics of discussion will be weapons supplies.
"Indeed, one of the issues I will discuss with President Trump during the meeting is a defense package that Ukraine is ready to purchase. And we will talk this through with him. I'm confident we'll have that opportunity," Zelenskyy emphasized.
