Zelenskyy on Russian strikes on Ukraine: Moscow ignores diplomacy, pressure needed

Russia continues to ignore all diplomacy. The West must increase pressure against Russia to stop strikes on Ukraine, according to President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Russian strikes on Ukraine
According to the President, today alone, air raid alerts were sounded in many regions of Ukraine, as well as in Kyiv, due to the threat of Russian ballistic missiles. In particular, during the day, Russia attacked the Sumy and Donetsk regions with bombs and missiles.
During the night attack on Ukraine, Russians launched 55 Shahed drones. Russian strikes caused damage to ordinary houses, shops, an outpatient clinic, and a gas pipeline. There are casualties:
- 11 people were taken to hospitals in Dnipro and Kharkiv;
- In Kramatorsk, an 11-year-old girl was injured;
"In the village of Bilyi Kolodyaz', Kharkiv region, Russians attacked the village council building with an FPV drone strike right during the distribution of humanitarian aid. Everyone is receiving the necessary assistance. I thank our medical workers, emergency and utility services, police officers, and the State Emergency Service of Ukraine," he added.
Russia ignores diplomacy
As Zelenskyy noted, it is possible to protect lives from Russian terror only in unity, as the war does not stop with talks and statements. Russia, in turn, ignores diplomacy because it believes it can afford it.
"Increasing pressure on Russia is essential to stop the strikes. And that depends on the decisions of the United States, Europe, and all partners around the world who truly want to end this war," the President said.
Russia has increased the number of air attacks on Ukraine. According to Zelenskyy, Russian strikes on Ukraine are a response to all international diplomatic efforts, and therefore, it is necessary to increase pressure on Moscow.
