Zelenskyy on NATO summit: We would like to see something akin to invitation to Alliance
Ukraine would like to receive something akin to a NATO invitation during the Alliance's summit in Washington, scheduled for July 9-11, according to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy's interview with Bloomberg.
The head of the Ukrainian state revealed that at the NATO summit, he will lobby for the transfer of additional Patriot air defense systems to Ukraine, as well as the signing of new agreements on security guarantees.
According to Zelenskyy, Ukraine also wants to receive an invitation to join the Alliance, but "we know we won’t get it."
"We would like to see something similar to an invitation. It would be a sign that nobody is afraid of Putin and that everyone is sure in the US leadership," the president emphasized.
