Zelenskyy names condition for energy ceasefire with Russia

Ukraine is ready for an energy ceasefire with Russia. Kyiv will refrain from striking enemy energy facilities if Moscow does not attack Ukraine’s energy infrastructure, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said this while speaking to journalists following his meeting with US President Donald Trump.
"We spoke about an energy ceasefire. I don't want to go into details," the head of state said.
According to the president, Washington will convey Ukraine's proposal on an energy ceasefire to Moscow.
"If we don't attack energy, that means all energy, everything. This is our proposition. But I don't know the Russian position," he said.
Zelenskyy said that Ukraine would stop striking Russian energy facilities if Russia does not attack Ukraine's energy infrastructure.
The head of state added that there was no discussion today of Ukraine stopping strikes unilaterally.
"We are not donors. Especially not to Putin. If you want us not to target diesel and oil refineries, factories, energy, of course we will not. We respond. We don't want to. I suggest not playing these games. He (Putin - ed.) attacked us; we respond," the president said.
Earlier, Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during his meeting with Donald Trump, he planned to discuss the possibility of introducing an energy and maritime ceasefire.
In addition, Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that the war could end before winter with the help of Donald Trump.
