Zelenskyy: I hope war can end before winter with Trump's help

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy expressed hope that the full-scale war could end before winter with the help of US President Donald Trump, according to a broadcast of the meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly.
"I hope we will end this war. And President Trump will help us to end this war. We need to do it as quick as possible, even before winter," Zelenskyy said.
Earlier today, during his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, US President Donald Trump said that the war in Ukraine would end "more quickly than people understand."
After arriving at the UN General Assembly today, the US leader also addressed the Russian dictator. Asked by a journalist what message he would like to send to the Kremlin leader, Trump replied, "Settle the war."
In addition, Zelenskyy previously said that during his meeting with Trump in New York, he planned to discuss the possibility of introducing an energy and maritime ceasefire.
