Trump makes new statement on ending war in Ukraine

US President Donald Trump made a new statement about ending the war in Ukraine during his speech at the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, according to Clash Report.
In particular, the US president emphasized that the war in Ukraine will end "more quickly than people understand."
According to Trump, the United States is working very closely with the president of Ukraine and the Russian President.
"We will get that one done. It's going to happen, I think, more quickly than people understand. They’ve had it," he emphasized.

Today, after arriving at the UN General Assembly, the US president addressed Russian President Vladimir Putin. When a journalist asked Trump what his message to Putin would be, Trump replied, "Settle the war."
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that during his meeting with Donald Trump in New York, he plans to discuss the possibility of establishing an energy and maritime ceasefire.
In addition, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Trump and Zelenskyy will meet in New York on the evening of September 22. Among other things, the leaders intend to discuss the terms of a possible energy ceasefire between Ukraine and Russia.
