Zelenskyy meets King Charles III during UK visit

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with King Charles III during his visit to the United Kingdom, according to a statement from the Ukrainian leader and a report by Reuters.
"An audience with King Charles III. I thank His Majesty, the Royal Family, and all Britons for their support of our people. It means a great deal to Ukraine," the president wrote.
According to Reuters, Zelenskyy met with King Charles at Windsor Castle ahead of scheduled political meetings later in the day.
The two leaders shook hands in front of the cameras during what marked their third meeting this year.
Zelenskyy's visit to the UK
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy arrived in the United Kingdom on Monday, June 23.
In addition to his audience with King Charles III, the Ukrainian leader is set to meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer, as well as the Speakers of both Houses of Parliament — Sir Lindsay Hoyle and Lord John McFall.
Zelenskyy is also expected to visit Ukrainian service members currently undergoing training in the UK.
