F-16 for Ukraine

Last week, the United States, Denmark, and the Netherlands announced the start of delivering F-16 fighter jets to Ukraine. According to US Secretary of State Antony Blinken, Ukraine is likely to use these aircraft this summer.

Dutch Defense Minister Ruben Brekelmans confirmed that the first fighter jets would be delivered to Ukraine soon. He emphasized that he could not disclose details about the delivery, as such information would be useful for Russia.

According to the head of the Servant of the People faction in the Verkhovna Rada, Davyd Arakhamia, the partners promised Ukraine more F-16s than they trained pilots and engineers.
