Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with UK Prime Minister Keir Starmer in London this morning, August 14, Sky News reports.
“Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet with Sir Keir Starmer in Downing Street today,” the media outlet’s sources said.
The office of the UK Prime Minister has not disclosed details about what exactly the leaders will discuss during today’s talks.
Zelenskyy’s visit to Europe
Yesterday, August 13, the President of Ukraine arrived in Berlin. At the Berlin airport, Zelenskyy was met by a number of officials, including Ukraine’s ambassador to Germany, Oleksii Makeiev.
News of Zelenskyy’s visit to Germany became public that same day. In the German capital, Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
They also took part together in a video conference with US President Donald Trump, European leaders, and NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte. As French President Emmanuel Macron noted, during the conversation, Trump promised that any territorial issues could only be discussed with Ukraine’s participation.
Also today, the sixth online meeting of the Coalition of the Willing countries took place. Zelenskyy called on Ukraine’s partners to actively finance Ukrainian drone production and join the program for purchasing American weapons.
