Zelenskyy imposes sanctions on drone suppliers and developers for Russia
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has signed a decree expanding sanctions against Russia. The sanctions target individuals and entities involved in supporting Russia's military system, according to Zelenskyy's evening address and the Presidential Office website.
"Today, I signed a decree imposing sanctions on Russian and other individuals and entities working for Russia's military system," President Zelenskyy announced.
According to him, the sanctions target developers, manufacturers, and suppliers of drones for Russia, individuals assisting in importing critical components into Russia, and those training drone operators. In total, more than 100 entities are affected.
Zelenskyy added that the work with partners is ongoing to synchronize Ukraine's sanctions with the partners' corresponding measures.
Ukraine’s sanctions against Russia
In early October, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy enacted two sanctions packages of the National Security and Defense Council targeting Ukrainian traitors and Russia's military production sector.
In September, the President imposed sanctions on six individuals and over 40 entities from Russia, Iran, and China.
