On October 8, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy introduced two sanctions packages by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) against Ukrainian traitors and Russian military production, according to Zelenskyy's evening address and the corresponding presidential decrees.

"We continue our sanctions efforts. Today, two new sanctions packages have been applied. Against those who betrayed Ukraine, and also against Russia's military production – those legal and physical entities working for terror," Zelenskyy said.

The President emphasized that Ukraine's sanctions and pressure on the enemy "will remain synchronized with all those around the world who, like Ukrainians, seek real peace."

Decree No. 698 imposed sanctions on 90 individuals and 4 legal entities.

Decree No. 697 sanctioned 57 enterprises aiding Russia's military production, including a Chinese company.
