President Volodymyr Zelenskyy conducted another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. The session lasted for about three hours, according to a statement from the head of the state.

"Conducted the meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. Various issues, various aspects of defense. It lasted almost three hours. Issues of the military. Issues of veterans. Brigade issues. Issues of fortifications. Issues of weapon production," he stated.

Zelenskyy added that he is working separately to implement all agreements with partners regarding new weapon production—joint production and a joint repair base.

"The task is to strengthen Ukraine to the maximum, and every month should add strength to our defense," he added.

The last meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief

The last meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief took place on December 8. At that time, the operational situation on the front was discussed.

Before that, on December 1, discussions revolved around the scenario for 2024 and changes in mobilization.

Mobilization in Ukraine

Before that, Zelenskyy conducted a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief, where one of the main topics of discussion was mobilization.

Afterward, the head of state announced that he had instructed the Minister of Defense, Rustem Umerov, and the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces, Valerii Zaluzhnyi, to develop a comprehensive plan for mobilization in Ukraine.
