Zelenskyy chairs another Staff meeting: Frontline situation discussed
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held another meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief to discuss the current situation on the front line, according to the statement of the head of state.
"I held a Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting. As always, the Commander-in-Chief and each sector commanders reported on the operational situation. Kupiansk, Lyman, and all Donetsk directions, the south," he stated.
Zelenskyy thanked all soldiers and commanders for their resilience and courage.
"The task of our state - even now, in winter, no matter how difficult it may be - is to show strength and not let the enemy seize the initiative, not let them fortify. I thank everyone whose actions ensure this for Ukraine - our ability to make our moves. Today, I want to particularly commend the soldiers who have shown themselves the most - now, in battles and in winter and this autumn," he emphasized.
Last Staff meeting
The last Supreme Commander-in-Chief Staff meeting took place on December 1. At that time, scenarios for 2024 and changes in mobilization were discussed.
