Zelenskyy holds Commander-in-Chief's Staff meeting: Front situation, weapons production discussed
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief on May 6, focusing on arms supply and production.
During the meeting, discussions were held regarding the front line, with the President receiving a report from Oleksandr Syrskyi, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"He was on the front line, directly in the brigades. He reported on key challenges and needs. We are preparing," Zelenskyy said.
There was also a report on domestic arms production and equipping Ukrainian brigades. The President stated that everything possible is being done to provide more weapons for Ukrainian soldiers.
"We separately discussed supplies from partners: delivery schedules and the possibility to expedite the actual receipt of weapons and ammunition from partners. Real. Actual. Political decisions must be met with real logistics - actual receipt of weapons by our soldiers," the President added.
