Zelenskyy held meeting of Staff of Supreme Commander-in-Chief

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy says during the briefing he held a regular meeting of the Staff of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief. It was about today's challenges.
“I held a very important meeting. We had a serious military bet today because there are many different challenges. And whatever happens, whatever relations we have with our partners, air defense systems, drones, electronic warfare systems, missiles, fighting them and producing our own are also serious topics,” the President said.
According to him, today's meeting analyzed the issue of long-range weapons, including drones, as well as air defense. Currently, Ukraine's partners have an understanding of what Kyiv expects from them today.
“We have a broad map of what needs to be done and what we have. And I am satisfied with today's rate,” he said.
Arms production in Ukraine
Since the outbreak of the full-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, Ukraine's defense industry has undergone major changes, focusing on rapidly expanding production and modernizing weapons. New projects have been launched to create drones, artillery systems, armored vehicles, and electronic warfare equipment, and cooperation with partner countries has helped to obtain advanced technologies and increase the supply of ammunition.
As the head of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, Rustem Umerov, recently said, the ministry is launching a new model for providing the Ukrainian army with drones.
Last year alone, over 900 new models of weapons and military equipment were put into service.
