Zelenskyy discusses paths to real peace in Ukraine with Brazil’s President

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy met with Brazilian President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in New York. Among other things, they discussed ways to achieve peace in Ukraine, according to the President's post.
"I had a substantive meeting with President of Brazil Lula da Silva. We spoke about the most important issue – the ways to achieve real peace for Ukraine," Zelenskyy wrote.
He added that he is ready to meet with Russian leader Vladimir Putin, but Moscow is not ready. Therefore, strong international pressure is needed to push forward the path to dialogue.
Zelenskyy also told Lula da Silva about the real situation on the front lines, as well as Russia's manipulation of its military victories.
The Ukrainian President invited his counterpart to visit Ukraine.
What Lula da Silva said about the war in Ukraine
Earlier, Brazilian President Lula da Silva said that Russia's war against Ukraine was close to ending.
In his opinion, Zelenskyy and Putin are simply waiting for the moment when they "have the courage to announce" the end of the war.
Also yesterday, September 23, the Brazilian leader stressed that Russia's war against Ukraine must be ended through negotiations.
