In his video address, Zelenskyy mentioned that he discussed with Ramaphosa efforts to return to Ukraine a real and just peace.

"Exactly the kind of peace that every nation deserves and for which Ukraine has proposed the Peace Formula. Ten points covering all aspects of Russian aggression against our state," said Zelenskyy.

He also added that Africa should be represented in all global processes.

Global Peace Summit

Ukraine has already organized several meetings on the Peace Formula at the level of advisors to heads of state, with the participation of dozens of countries. The main goal is to involve as many countries as possible in supporting such an initiative.

In January 2024, Ukraine and Switzerland began preparations for the Global Peace Summit, which will be held at the level of heads of state.

Recently, the head of the Office of the President, Andriy Yermak, suggested that Russia could be allowed to participate in meetings on the Peace Formula. The readiness to discuss this issue will be at the second Global Peace Summit.
