The parties also discussed the confiscation of Russian assets, support for Ukraine's accession to NATO, security guarantees, a peace formula, and US participation in the Peace Summit.
Visit of the Congress delegation
Today, on April 22, the Congress delegation visited Ukraine. This happened after the House of Representatives approved a $60 billion bill on aid to Ukraine by the vote of a majority. It provides not only military but also financial support.
Assistant Secretary of State for European and Eurasian Affairs James O'Brien also arrived in Kyiv. According to him, such support for Ukraine in Congress means that the assistance will continue until the end of the war with Russia.
