Sanctions by Ukraine

On July 13, 2023, the Verkhovna Rada passed a bill proposing the establishment of a unified state register of sanctions. Through this, the government will have the authority to demand proper adherence to sanctions already imposed by Ukraine.
On July 26, President Zelenskyy signed the parliament-approved law into effect.
Additionally, last summer, the President approved the decision of the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) to impose sanctions on 18 companies associated with Russian oligarchs Mikhail Fridman, Petr Aven, and German Khan.
The head of state also introduced restrictions against 190 individuals and 290 legal entities, including the Georgian airline, Georgian Airways.
