Zelenskyy announces success of Ukraine's forces in Sumy region: Gradually pushing back occupiers

Ukrainian soldiers are holding the defense in the Sumy region. They have even managed to push back the Russian troops, according to the evening address of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
According to the president, today he was briefed by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Oleksandr Syrskyi. He reported on the situation at the front. The general’s briefing primarily focused on the Pokrovsk direction, the Kursk operation, and the fighting near the border in the Sumy region.
"Our units in the Sumy region are gradually pushing back the occupiers. Thank you! Thank you to every one of our soldiers, sergeants, and officers for this result. To every unit," Zelenskyy said.
Situation in the Sumy region
On June 8, DeepState analysts claimed that the Russian forces had expanded control over territories near the border of the Sumy region.
In particular, the enemy may have occupied the village of Loknia, located north of the center of the Yunakivka community.
At the same time, the head of the Sumy Regional Military Administration, Oleh Hryhorov, reported that on June 8, the Russian army intensified attacks on the Sumy region. As a result of their attacks, civilians were wounded.
