Zelenskyy announces new meeting between Ukrainian and US teams in Saudi Arabia

Ukraine is planning a new meeting with the US team. It is to take place next Monday in Saudi Arabia, stated Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy during a briefing.
The Ukrainian President stated that one of the upcoming meetings between the Ukrainian and US teams will be held on Monday in Saudi Arabia.
"Our technical teams will be present. As I understand it, the structure is such that first, there will be a meeting between Ukraine and the US, and then, as our American partners have indicated, within the framework of existing diplomacy, the US will meet with Russia," Zelenskyy explained.
He also noted that there is a possibility of parallel meetings taking place in the same country on the same topic.
US negotiations with Ukraine and Russia
Recently, Russian President Vladimir Putin and US President Donald Trump discussed a settlement of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Putin effectively rejected Washington’s proposal for a full cessation of hostilities, setting forth unrealistic conditions instead.
However, the Kremlin leader reportedly agreed to halt attacks on Ukraine’s energy infrastructure.
Meanwhile, last night, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy spoke with Trump. It was their first conversation since the dispute in the White House.
At around 6:00 p.m. Kyiv time, reports emerged that Trump and Zelenskyy had concluded their phone call. Trump later said that the conversation went "very well".
