Zelenskyy announces creation of Ukrainian Economic Platform: Details
Ukraine will create an Ukrainian Economic Platform to significantly facilitate communication with entrepreneurs, according to a statement by Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
"We are establishing the Ukrainian Economic Platform, which will represent small-, medium-, and large-sized businesses, as well as various regions of our country. Investors and relocated enterprises will also be included," the President announces.
According to him, the entire community of Ukrainian businesses will be represented on the new platform.
"'Made in Ukraine' is not just a brand; it is a large community of people, millions of Ukrainians working in businesses. These are our people who establish enterprises, create job opportunities for others," emphasizes the President.
The head of state emphasizes that the government, together with the Presidential Office, regional state administrations, and experts, will organize the platform's work. Its main task is to be an effective communication tool.
Background
Recently, the President announced that the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine had decided on economic security and stability during the ongoing martial law in the country.
In particular, he reported on the creation of a Council to support entrepreneurship.
Earlier on January 22, President Zelenskyy mentioned that a challenging discussion took place between government officials and representatives of domestic business.
The head of state informed that he had familiarized himself with the details and asked to "make the necessary adjustments so that all difficulties between government officials, business, and law enforcement are resolved."
He announced the presentation of these adjustments at the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC).
