The new strikes by Russia on Ukrainian cities are a deliberate crime by the Kremlin and an attempt to prolong the war, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy wrote about this on Telegram.

"Such killings now, when real diplomacy could have long ago begun, are a deliberate crime and an attempt to prolong the war," Zelenskyy wrote.

He recalled that statements about possible sanctions in the event of a refusal to negotiate have been repeatedly made in Washington. He also stressed the need to implement all agreements reached in Paris.

The president emphasized that Ukraine is counting on the implementation of all decisions related to strengthening air defense, as each additional system "saves civilians from these vile strikes."

"The world can force the Kremlin criminals to stop killing — all that is needed is political will. I thank everyone who is helping," he added.
