Massive enemy strike
Today, on January 2nd, Russian occupiers once again launched a massive attack on Ukraine. They used kamikaze drones and missiles for this purpose.
The enemy's main target was Kyiv. Near the capital, the air defense forces shot down approximately 60 missiles. In particular, they managed to destroy the enemy's hypersonic Kinzhal missiles, which were launched by MiG-31K aircraft.
Overall, Ukrainian defenders destroyed 72 missiles today.
Despite the successful work of the air defense systems, there are casualties in Kyiv and several regions. In the capital, dozens of civilians were injured due to falling debris.
