Zelenskyy will meet Trump and key leaders today: Inside his NATO summit plans

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy will meet today, June 25, with his American counterpart, Donald Trump, on the sidelines of the NATO Summit in The Hague. The Ukrainian head of state also has meetings scheduled with leaders of other countries, according to an informed source.
In addition to the meeting with the US leader, the Ukrainian president's agenda includes meetings with Danish Prime Minister Mette Frederiksen, New Zealand Prime Minister Christopher Luxon, and German Chancellor Friedrich Merz.
A meeting in the E5 format is also planned — it will include the leaders of Germany, the UK, France, Italy, Poland, and the NATO Secretary General. Another format, N5, will involve the heads of the Scandinavian countries.
Zelenskyy in The Hague, where the NATO Summit is taking place
Yesterday, June 24, the 76th annual NATO Summit began in The Hague, Netherlands. Today, June 25, the plenary session is being held. The main topic is increasing defense spending (the goal is 5% of GDP by 2035). However, the allies will also discuss support for Ukraine.
The session will last 2.5 hours, after which a final press conference by NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is expected, as well as separate press statements with Volodymyr Zelenskyy.
Yesterday, the Ukrainian president held a meeting with Prime Minister Dick Schoof, addressed participants of the Defense Industries Forum's plenary session, and later addressed the Dutch Senate and House of Representatives.
Zelenskyy also met with U.S. Senators on the sidelines of the summit.
Later, he held a joint meeting with the Presidents of the European Council and the European Commission, and NATO Secretary General — António Costa, Ursula von der Leyen, and Mark Rutte. Zelenskyy also met with French President Emmanuel Macron.
Among other engagements, President Zelenskyy had an audience with King Willem-Alexander of the Netherlands. He was also among the guests at the king's residence during the official dinner marking the opening of the NATO Summit.
