Ukrainians should respond only to official information in the context of rumors about a possible halt to American weapons supplies, according to Andriy Yermak, head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, on Telegram.

According to him, Ukrainian officials continue their work.

"Don’t overreact to loud headlines about defense; only official information matters," Yermak added.

Supply halt

Earlier, Politico reported that the US had allegedly paused deliveries of missiles for air defense and artillery shells to Ukraine.

Later, The New York Times, citing sources, clarified that the US would not provide Ukraine with Patriot system missiles, guided bombs, and artillery shells for several months.

At the same time, the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense stated that there have been no official US announcements about stopping deliveries.

The ministry promised to hold a phone conversation with US counterparts to clarify the details.

For his part, Mykhailo Podolyak, advisor to the head of the Office of the President, emphasized that weapons supplies from the US continue.
