Russia, by shelling Ukraine, including launching a massive strike on Dnipro, is prolonging the war. The occupiers still do not feel the appropriate pressure or response for their actions, states Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Telegram.

According to Zelenskyy, throughout the evening and night, Russia attacked Ukraine with more than 170 drones, including over 100 Shaheds, carrying out a massive strike on Dnipropetrovsk, Kyiv, Sumy, Kharkiv, and Khmelnytskyi regions.

"Throughout the night in Dnipro, the aftermath of this attack was being dealt with. As of now, four people are known to have died. My condolences to their families and loved ones," he wrote.

"All night long, Dnipro was working to eliminate the consequences of this attack. As of now, four people have been confirmed dead. My condolences to their families and loved ones," he wrote.

The President reminded that 21 people were injured, including a pregnant woman, and several residential buildings, a hotel-restaurant complex, garages, and a car service station were destroyed or damaged in the city.

"Unfortunately, there are destructions in every region that was attacked. Our constant gratitude to all those who help people on the ground after such attacks, saving lives, providing medical assistance, and clearing the debris," Zelenskyy noted.

He emphasized that Russia mocks the world's peacekeeping efforts — prolonging the war and committing this terror because it still doesn't feel real pressure.

"Diplomacy can work, but it must be supported by actions that strengthen our fighters and deprive the occupiers of the resources to continue the war," he added.

As the head of state noted, partners know what can help, what kind of pressure is needed, and this depends on America, Europe, and everyone in the world who wants effective diplomacy.

Russian strike on Dnipro

Russian invaders shelled Dnipro on the evening of March 28. Specifically, the Russians targeted the well-known Bartolomeo hotel-restaurant complex, which was destroyed in the attack.

Additionally, several fires broke out in the city, four people were killed, and more than 20 were injured. RBC-Ukraine had previously published images showing how Dnipro looked after the massive attack.
