Zelenskyy on meetings with Trump's team: Next few weeks could be intense

The teams of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy and US President Donald Trump are already planning meetings and negotiations. Therefore, the next few weeks could be intense, stated Volodymyr Zelensky on Telegram.
"The next few weeks could be very intense in diplomacy, and we will do everything necessary to make this time effective and productive. We always value cooperation with President Trump. We are also planning meetings and negotiations at the team level," the Ukrainian leader stated.
He clarified that the Ukrainian and American teams are already working on the details of these plans.
Zelenskyy also emphasized that a lasting and strong peace between Ukraine and Russia should be brought closer.
Trump talks about meeting with Zelenskyy
Earlier, US President Donald Trump stated that he could meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy next week.
According to the American President, such a meeting could take place in Washington. He is not planning a visit to Kyiv at the moment.
At the same time, Trump clarified that he is working on the issue of protecting Ukraine's rare earth metals.
