The number of people injured in last night’s enemy attack on Zaporizhzhia has risen to 18, with most of the wounded being women, according to the Telegram channel of Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration head Ivan Fedorov.

“Twelve women and six men were injured. All are receiving the necessary medical care,” Fedorov wrote.

Following the previous massive Russian shelling, 12 people were hospitalized. The head of the regional administration shared footage of the aftermath of the attack on the evening of November 25. However, Russia did not stop, and warnings about air alarms, missile threats, and drones - most of which were the widely known Shahed drones - began appearing again after midnight in Zaporizhzhia.

Attacks on Zaporizhzhia

From time to time, Russian forces carry out massive attacks on the Zaporizhzhia region and its administrative center using missiles, KABs, and drones, causing damage not only to infrastructure but also to civilians. Reports have repeatedly indicated dozens of wounded and killed, as well as destroyed homes, shops, schools, kindergartens, and other civilian facilities. Russia employs strike drones and various types of missiles - including ballistic and cruise missiles - as well as guided bombs, showing no regard for civilian populations.

As previously reported, explosions were heard in Zaporizhzhia on the evening prior, followed by fires, including one in a residential building that affected several floors. Overall, at least seven multi-story buildings and several private homes were damaged in different districts of Zaporizhzhia during the enemy attack on the evening of November 25. A business and a shop also caught fire.

Earlier, on November 20, the Russian army attacked the regional center and surrounding areas with strike drones. The attack damaged homes, a shop, and a market. In addition, five people were killed, and at least three others were injured.
