Russia attacks Zaporizhzhia with drones: Explosion heard in city, fatalities reported

On the evening of Thursday, November 20, Russian forces attacked the Zaporizhzhia region and the city of Zaporizhzhia with kamikaze drones. An explosion occurred in the city, with fatalities and injured reported, according to a post by the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.
He reported that Russian forces are attacking the Zaporizhzhia region and, directly, the regional center.
"An explosion was heard in one of the districts of Zaporizhzhia. Emergency services are inspecting the area. Preliminary reports indicate there are injured," Fedorov’s post reads.
The head of the Regional Military Administration also urged all residents of Zaporizhzhia and the region to stay in safe locations.
Later, Fedorov added that two people were killed and two others were injured as a result of the enemy strike on Zaporizhzhia. The attack also damaged residential buildings, a store, and a market.

The enemy attack in Zaporizhzhia has had severe consequences. According to the latest information from the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, five people have been killed and three injured.
All emergency services are working at the site of the tragedy – rescuers, medical personnel, and law enforcement. Specialists continue to clear the debris and provide assistance to the affected.

Previous attacks on Zaporizhzhia
On the night of November 7, Zaporizhzhia came under attack by Russian forces, resulting in broken windows in apartment buildings and a kindergarten. Shortly before the explosions, the Air Force had reported a threat of strikes with guided aerial bombs.
Earlier, on November 5, occupiers attacked a rescue vehicle in Zaporizhzhia with a strike drone, injuring four people.
On November 3, explosions were heard in Dnipro and the Zaporizhzhia region. Russian forces launched ballistic missiles at these areas. In the Zaporizhzhia district, four explosions were reported.
