Zaporizhzhia targeted by guided aerial bomb strikes, energy and gas systems damaged

On Monday morning, August 25, the Russian military carried out airstrikes with guided bombs across the Zaporizhzhia region, causing destruction, according to Ivan Fedorov, head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration.
Preliminary reports indicate the strikes targeted the Kushuhum community.
The attacks damaged homes, power lines, and gas infrastructure.
“Information on casualties is being clarified,” Fedorov said.
Around 7:00 a.m. Kyiv time, air raid alerts were issued across several regions. At that time, the Air Force had warned of a potential ballistic strike from the south.
Earlier, at 6:30 a.m., the Zaporizhzhia region went on alert due to the threat of guided aerial bombs.
Enemy drone attacks
On the evening of Sunday, August 24, the Russian military again launched Shahed-type strike drones over Ukraine, entering Ukrainian airspace from the north.
Explosions were reported in Kharkiv, but as of 12:50 a.m., no casualties or damage had been confirmed.
Overnight, a massive drone attack was also reported on the city of Sumy, where one impact caused a fire. No casualties were reported.
