On the night of October 5, Russian forces carried out a combined strike on Zaporizhzhia. The attack damaged buildings, caused fires, and resulted in casualties in the city, according to the Telegram post from the head of the Zaporizhzhia Regional Military Administration, Ivan Fedorov.

During the night, he informed that the enemy had attacked the regional center with drones and missiles. According to Fedorov, at least 10 strikes were carried out across the city.
